In recent years, animal-assisted therapy has grown in popularity to treat a variety of mental and behavioral health conditions including

autism and has become a common complement to traditional treatment.  With substance abuse disorders and traumatic disorders, there is a

great emotional dysregulation or discomfort to experience and process emotions.  Having a previous diagnosis can cause more frustration

and difficulty in dealing with them leading to the substance abuse.  DrugRehab’s goal is to  help heal individuals and their family members.
