Recreational Groups

Recreational Groups help build social skills the foundational building blocks of social connections.  Acquiring an understanding of how to communicate both verbally and non-verbally is paramount to developing interpersonal connections, whether it is at home, at school or in the work place.

ASRC @ Clifford Beers Community Care Center offers Recreational Groups (both in person and virtual) to help provide teens and adults within the ASD community with opportunities to practice the skills of social expectations – from the very basics to more complicated and nuanced demands of teen and adult interactions.

These are group activities, not social skill groups or therapy based.
