“Autism: Raising Awareness at the Capitol”

April 29 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

The CT Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity & Opportunity invites you and the families under your care to attend: “Autism: Raising Awareness at the Capitol“. The event aims to raise awareness, enhance understanding, and address challenges confronting the autism community.

This event serves as a platform for individuals with autism and their families to become empowered advocates and gain access to available resources and services from autism organizations from across the state who will be present sharing information about the services they provide.

We extend the invitation to families to join us and listen to insights from medical professionals, as well as personal stories from individuals with autism and parent advocates who have navigated the journey of raising children on the autism spectrum. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from legislators regarding current legislative efforts.
