The Yale Toddler Developmental Disabilities Clinic and Yale Social and Affective Neuroscience of Autism Program (Yale SANA Program) specialize in providing clinical services and research opportunities for young children and their families. Our clinical and research teams consist of highly experienced clinical psychologists, speech and language pathologists and clinical social workers.

SANA Program focuses on early social and affective development of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other disabilities. We aim to discover biomarkers of social and emotional vulnerabilities and novel treatment targets in infancy and early childhood. Our interdisciplinary and collaborative research relies on integration of clinical, behavioral, and neurophysiological assessments along with imaging data in service of improving the lives of children living with complex developmental disorders.

Our clinical, diagnostic services provide multi-disciplinary assessments for infants and young children suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorder, genetic disorders (e.g., Fragile X, Down or Rett Syndrome), global developmental or language delays, as well as emotional or behavioral challenges. Comprehensive evaluations are tailored to the needs of the child and family, resulting in a diagnostic summary and individualized recommendations for treatment. Outpatient Services can include parent support and training, record review and consultation to pediatricians, early intervention providers and academic professionals.
