I’m a certified Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) and the owner of LT Speech and Language Therapy, LLC. I graduated with a B.A. in Communication Disorders from the University of Connecticut in 2006, and an M.S. in Communication Disorders from Southern CT State University in 2008. I maintain yearly certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as the State of CT Department of Public Health. In 2013, I was awarded an ACE (Award for Continuing Education) from ASHA for completing at least 70 hours of continuing education within a three year period. I specialize in pediatric communication disorders. I have always loved working with children and their families, supporting them in their feeding and communication challenges. I am a PROMPT (level 2 – Bridging) trained therapist. PROMPT is a specialized tactile-kinesthetic approach to treatment that allows children to feel the movements of speech.
