The Learning Center-East Hartford is a private special education program, approved by the Connecticut State Department of Education to serve children and adolescents between the ages of 9 and 21. The Learning Center serves residents of Ädelbrook, as well as day students from across the State of Connecticut. The students that attend the program have been identified as having learning and intellectual disabilities, social, emotional and behavioral difficulties. Many have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
