The Sukhodolsky Lab at the Yale Child Study Center conducts research studies that allow families to access free therapy for youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Dr. Denis Sukhodolsky is an expert in the treatment of disorders such as anxiety, irritability, and disruptive behaviors, which often co-occur with ASD. We have two current studies in our lab:

1. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety in ASD (ages 8-14)
2. Behavioral therapy for irritability and/or disruptive behavior in ASD (ages 12-18)

Participating in our studies involves comprehensive clinical evaluation and 15 weeks of therapy (remote or in-person). The CBT for anxiety in ASD study also involves two fMRI scans. Families are paid for their participation.
