Playing on the Spectrum: Ages 3-6

Recurring event see all

October 10, 2021 @ 11:15 am 12:00 pm

This program engages children in an interactive, play-based format that provides fun activities such as yoga, basic sports skills, music and physical fitness. Each four-week session serves children with autism ages 3-10.

Our goal is for children to be physically active in a safe, appropriate environment where they can make friends, practice social skills, and master basic gross motor skills.

Have questions about the program before you sign up? Go to autismfamiliesct.org/programs or email our Program Manager, Terri Larson, at terri@autismfamiliesct.org.

COVID-19 Precautions

In order to reopen our doors and safely welcome our families back to in person programs at 600 North Mountain Road, Autism Families CONNECTicut (AFC) has developed thorough Covid-19 mitigation strategies. These include staff training, reduced participant numbers, shorter program time, mask mandates, social distancing, Covid registration procedures, health screening & temp checks prior to each program.

While we are excited to resume in person programming, safety and health are AFC’s first priorities. All our new policies will be communicated on our website, social media, and provided in advance to all registered participants. If you have any questions, or concerns about AFC’s Covid protocols, please contact Maria Mascoli, maria@autismfamiliesct.org.
