Autism Puzzlethon™ is a unique event that is designed to offer an opportunity for individuals to participate in a social activity that everyone enjoys, with fundraising that supports the Connecticut autism community by providing fundraising for ASRC programs and services. 100% of funds raised for Autism Puzzlethon™ stay right here in Connecticut to help families and individuals living with autism. Go to www.puzzlethon.org to create your own fundraising page and join the puzzle fun at an event near you!
For decades, the puzzle piece has been the symbol of the autism community, reflecting the complexity of the disability as well as the difficulty in piecing together interventions that are as unique as each individual. Puzzles for Autism Puzzlethon™ were chosen, not only because of their universal appeal across age and ability ranges, but also because many persons with autism are particularly skilled at puzzles. Any type of puzzle qualifies, (jigsaw, crossword, Sudoku, word search) so anyone from toddler to senior citizen can participate.
Can't find an Autism Puzzlethon™ near you? CONTACT ASRC 203-265-7717 or info [at] CT-ASRC [dot] org and we will help you set up your own event in your community.
